Snapmy.site turns a public website into a short launch film. This page explains what happens to the data involved. It is short because we collect very little.
What runs in your browser
- Films are put together, previewed and exported to MP4 inside your browser.
- Films you make are saved in your browser's local storage. We don't keep a copy. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
- Your theme choice (light or dark) is also kept in local storage.
What is sent to our server
The website address you enter and the text read from that site are sent to our server so it can pick the key features and write the script. To do this, the address and the site's text may be processed by third-party AI providers and by third-party page-reading services acting for us.
Your account
- You sign in with Google. We receive and keep your email address, and the name and profile picture on your Google account. We never see your Google password.
- We keep your plan and how many films you've made this period, so we can apply your plan's limits.
- A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is needed for the service and isn't used for tracking.
- To delete your account, email support@snapmy.site from the address you signed in with.
Payments
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They collect your payment details directly; we never see your card number. Dodo Payments tells us your email address, what you bought and your subscription status, so we can unlock your plan.
Only enter addresses of public websites. Don't enter links that contain passwords, tokens or other private information.
Other services the page loads
The page loads fonts and the video player from third-party content delivery networks, and sample films may load screenshots of the sample sites from a screenshot service. These services receive the usual technical request data, such as your IP address and browser type.
What we don't do
- We don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this page.
- We don't send marketing email.
- We don't sell data.
